What is third order?

The Third Secular Order was established for those faithful among the laity who wish to share the spirit and charism of the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word. Members of the Third Order not only share the spirit of the Institute but also share the desire to attain holiness within their own vocations and to lead other men and women, especially their families, to be "other Christs" in the world, participating in the redemptive work of man's only Redeemer, Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word.
